Hello! My name is Becca. In the classroom I was most recently known as Mrs Greatrex. I graduated and started teaching back in 2009. Not wishing to leave my love of the classroom behind me after the birth of my third child in 2022, I have used my many years of experience to set up Lamberhurst Tutoring. My tuition provides focused yet fun and supportive small-group work for primary-school children at Key Stage 2.
I was joined at Lamberhurst Tutoring by Clare in 2023. Clare currently works part-time as a Year 1 and 2 teacher and is known in the classroom as Mrs Bannon. She has been teaching for 26 years. During this time she has taught across a range of different year groups, taken on a deputy headship role and has excellent experience and knowledge with a wide range of special educational needs.
In 2024 our third tutor, Bea joined us at Lamberhurst Tutoring. Bea is a secondary school English teacher known in the classroom as Mrs Riddiford. She has extensive experience teaching English at key stage 3, GCSE and A level. She has over ten years of experience in the private sector, and latterly and more locally in the grammar school and comprehensive system, having taught at Skinners’ school and Mascalls Academy.
Together, we have over 50 years experience in teaching. To find out more about who we are and what we can offer your child, please take a look at the rest of our website or contact us if you have any specific questions or would like to come along for a trial session.
