*All English 1:1 tutoring sessions are held with our tutor Bea and priced at £40 for KS3, £45 for KS4 and £50 for KS5. These prices are based on a one hour long session.

Key Stage 3 English Enrichment

For key stage 3, Bea offers an enrichment programme of reading and writing to support and enhance what is being learnt at school. This can be tailored to the needs of the individual student, but might include enhanced study of a set text, a “deep dive” into classic texts such as George Orwell’s “1984” or Graham Greene’s “The Third Man” to encourage and stretch avid and mature readers, and creative writing tuition. Bea has run creative writing clubs at key stage 3 in a variety of educational settings. 

GCSE English

At GCSE, Bea offers exam skills and set-text focused tuition to support students as they prepare for these public examinations. 

She can offer intensive sessions in the run up to the actual examinations, as well as weekly sessions to support students throughout the entire course, as appropriate and required.

A-Level English

At A level, Bea offers help with planning and executing coursework as appropriate, along with set text and exam skills focused tuition.

She can offer intensive sessions in the run up to the actual examinations, as well as weekly sessions to support students throughout the entire course, as appropriate and required.

Bea also has extensive experience as a sixth form tutor and so can advise on UCAS applications and offer preparatory sessions for university tests and interviews.
