Book Club for Wonderful Writers
Are you the parent of a complete bookworm or a reluctant reader?
There is a book out there for everyone and we now have a wide range of books available in our Book Club for Wonderful Writers online courses. This gives every child the opportunity and encouragement to read a book, they otherwise may not have picked up. Pre-recorded videos are provided with all our books so that every ability reader can access the wonderful stories that they contain.
Do you want to encourage how much your child already loves writing or do they need more support to improve their written skills?
Book Club for Wonderful Writers uses the writing techniques displayed in all our books to then encourage children, in bitesize manageable chunks, to develop and build on their own writing - perfect for whatever level ability your child is at.
How does this work?
-Buy or borrow a copy of the book you have chosen from our archive.

Questions
*Do we have to use the pre-recorded read along videos to support my child reading the book?
- It doesn't really matter if your child is reading along with the pre-recorded videos or an adult at home but it is important that they are listening to the story at the same time as reading it. By reading the book in this way, it takes off the pressure of reading and allows opportunity for the child to take in the story more effectively and consider the writing techniques being used.
*How do the 10 minute weekly writing challenges work?
- These are short writing tasks set each week so that your child is regularly writing for a purpose. They can be accessed through Google Classroom with a new video explaining the activity being released every Monday. Once your child has watched the video and completed their piece of writing, a photo can be taken and uploaded. They will then receive video feedback on what they have done well and what they can improve on next time.
